yeah nice work dude good track !!
Really, man? This one? Not any of MM5? The F'N ambient one? I can't figure you out :)
Its Pretty Good !! the 1st 1.20mins sounds nice but at about 1.30mins i think some of the arrangements are a bit over loaded or something a part from that its a pretty nice Track :-)
It's overloaded but nice? You crack me up. Then again, I'll say stuff like this too.
their is not really much to go on its a basic beat & basic synth & to short to be a real track .. but its OK .
as a warm up job :-) 4 somthing better
Ya im not finished with it just don't know what to do with it it still needs somethings if you have any suggestions let me know
Heavy as FUCk dude like it !!!
Glad to hear it! I specifically had certain things in mind with the first few tracks of MM5. I hope everyone else thinks they translated well. Time will tell.
really like this one !!!
i must ask because this thing about your mother or you girl friend is getting very confusing just what is your album about or youwho is it based on for instance's ? the music is pretty cool your doing some sampling now it seems but their is still them slightly annoying software preset trance-y things mixed in their sometimes which i do not like
I'm not even sure how to respond to this, but I'll try.
What is Mother Machine about? MM1 was about people entering into a facility they thought was empty, only to awaken MM and have Her kill them instead.
Pearly Gates, Contact, Vacated Facility, Burning Facility, Ripples of Falling Tears, Resurrection Prayer, Rise to Consciousness, Living and Breathing Machine, Her Looming Wrath, Enter The Mother Machine, Attack of the Mother Machine, In the Teeth of the Mother. <- the journey is even in the titles of the songs themselves. I know I've written about it plenty elsewhere.
Mother Machine: The Afterparty (MM2) didn't really have much of a purpose, not like MM1, 3, and 4. I wanted to take the analog stuff and go tinker with other genres. It was a lot of fun. I thought I was done with MM for good with Playtime Is Over. Clearly, I was wrong.
Mother Machine in 2015 (MM3) saw me return to the story-telling. I had already established in MM1 she had followers, so I ran with that. I established she's still around (There's Still Life In Her, Her Reemergence) and begun exploring her 'recruitment' of other followers (Her Home In The Deep, When Mother Gets Loose (Featuring YOU), Her Siren Call, To The Depths With Her) and then Her dissatisfaction and contemplations - which I was dissatisfied in life at the time - (Her Swirling Ethereal Solitude, Her Lonely Wasteland, Her Moving Meditations, Her Mechanical Reflections)
The Immortal Mother Machine (MM4) is all about what's next. I did my re-intro track (Is Anyone Out There?) then moved right back into the story. Her followers get initiated in her home (Her Forgotten Ritual) and they can join Her in (Her Haunted Retreat) and gain the sense of (Infinite Discovery) with Her. Like any group, there will always be problems, and I returned to my MM1 roots, musically and attitude-wise with (Hope Against Her? and Mother The Destroyer) crushing the dissenters. Explaining to the remaining followers that Loyalty is everything (Promises) to (Her Joyful Followers). ...Now I'm working on how to wrap up MM4. I have the "Planning the next move" track in progress right now, but that's probably the finale. I need another track between 8 and 10. Still working.
I am not concerned if I'm the -only one- who ever gets the story part of it, I really don't care. It helps me along, keeps me focused. Gives me an idea, a mood.
Cheeki Breeki was a bonus track I wanted to do for a while. Something that encapsulates a lot of my roots simultaneously.
Sampling and preset trance-y things and all that? *Now?* I've always loved tinkering. I've been the "lets blend this stuff together" guy from the start. The one constant is the NI Monark. Look it up, and/or play around with it yourself. You'll quickly hear things that you'll point to and say "Yep, that sounds familiar." I <3 Analog .
Another thing about Sampling and MM. Attack! was a track from one of my previous projects, called Combat. My first story-album. About a group of men going through the process of seeing a conflict (Storm on the Horizon ) through the conflict itself, learning the horrors of war, and the post-war mourning. I've posted some of it on NG but not all of it. Tomorrow, being 9/11 - many of us had already planned to have another listen to it. I Re-sampled Attack! for MM1, because it was meaningful to me, both the original song and MM1 as a project. I would go on to re-sample a song in each MM project.
Breathing new life into existing things is something I enjoy quite a bit.
my Combat page - http://anchorwind.net/2/combat-the-album/ . You can experience the story there.
pretty relaxing track like the deep bouncy bumpy bass
ruff neck fuckin banging high frequency baselines thus like ;-0)
I just got this thing last tuesday made the bass and the kick with it, is it freaking awesome sounding or what? :D
now this is more like it !! dark ambiances sounds better stripped back...
i have to say i was expecting a bit more from you ..but its a nice simple piece
anyone in the mood for some short ambient type DnB would surely Enjoy this..
ps probably could leave the sample out the beginning ..
That's fine. They all can't be winners to everyone.
